2014: A self-portrait

27 December 201403:11PMlife

It's the end of the year, and that means it's time for pensive, thoughtful, and considered reflection on the three-and-a-half-odd hundred days that came before.

Wait, no. I'm a Gen Y. That's not how we do things.

Let's look at some selfies. Just the ones with other people in them, so I don't bore you all with... well, this:

In a show of just how long this year has been - or rather, how long it feels like it's been - remember when that inflatable Stonehenge was set up in the CBD? That was this year. February, in fact.

And there is so much stuff that has happened since then. I got a car, for starters:

drive a civic

I graduated from university:

what a mighty fine hat

I stole'n'trolled Elliot's iPad at least once:

i don't know whether he actually noticed this in his camera roll

And rode in Britt's brand new second hand frighteningly yellow convertible:

top down, sunnies on, the norm.

We did stupid things in England:

actually my favourite photo

And Ireland:

i mustache you a question

And pretty much all over Europe, really:

astronaut from douchebag land

From whence I returned, only to be dragged up north with my brother and my dad.

it's hard to have a gaytime on your own

Not pictured - or rather, pictured illegally for these purposes (without a section of forearm in the way) - I moved out of home, got a job and a promotion, and managed to infect myself with Epstein-Barr virus.

Basically, 2014 has been one hell of a year.

with matso at matsos!

And here's to 2015 being just as good.
